On this photo taken by the flickr-user Wez Smith the margin of the contact lens can barely be seen. This gives the impression that the contact lens seems to be too small, but in this case it is the other way round. The iris is very big, because the contact lens of this user has already a diameter of 14,7mm, which is quite big, because diameters of soft contact lenses normally are in a range of 13,8 to 14,5mm.
